Gadkari expressed that the government is striving to find a middle ground between the MSP and market prices.
Gadkari likened the government to a 'Vishkanya' warning that its mere presence or interference can potentially ruin any project. He further explained that even during his time as the leader of the Opposition, he believed that people have faith in both God and the government, but acknowledged that the government's interference, even in the form of its shadow, can be detrimental to projects. He emphasized that progress can be achieved by distancing oneself from the government.
Gadkari stated that the government's primary goal is to increase the agricultural income of the country by 22%, and once this objective is accomplished, farmers' wages will reach 1500. He acknowledged the challenge of balancing the market price and MSP, noting that the government would need to allocate Rs 1.5 lakh crore to achieve this equilibrium.
